Conduct Requirements

You agree to conduct yourself professionally and responsibly when interacting with our services. You must not:

• 2. Harass, threaten, or abuse Reality Lab staff, contractors, or other users
• 3. Interfere with or disrupt the operation of our website or services
• 4. Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from our services
• 5. Use automated systems or bots to access our services without authorization

Content Guidelines

When submitting content or communications to Reality Lab, you agree that your content will not:

• 3. Violate privacy rights or contain unauthorized personal information

Reality Lab provides its services on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to:

• Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement
• Warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of information provided
• Warranties that our services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• Warranties concerning the results that may be obtained from using our services

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Reality Lab and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to:

• Your use of or inability to use our services
• Any unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
• Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
• Any errors, mistakes, or inaccuracies in content or materials

Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of our services shall not exceed the amount you have paid to Reality Lab in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Exclusion of Consequential Damages

Reality Lab shall not be liable for any consequential, indirect, or special damages, including but not limited to lost profits, lost revenue, loss of data, or business interruption, regardless of the legal theory under which such damages are sought, even if Reality Lab has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these terms shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Tokyo, Japan, and you hereby consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

Dispute Resolution Procedures

In the event of any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms and Conditions, the parties agree to first attempt to resolve the matter through good faith negotiations. If the parties cannot reach a resolution within thirty days, either party may pursue available legal remedies.

For disputes involving amounts below ¥5,000,000, the parties agree to attempt mediation before pursuing litigation. Mediation shall be conducted in accordance with the rules of the Tokyo Bar Association Dispute Resolution Center.

Severability Clause

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be severed from these terms, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be replaced with a valid provision that most closely reflects the intent of the original provision.
